Description

Two-Tier Table by Léon Bénouville.

  • Agarwood, sycamore and fruitwood marquetry.
  • Vegetal-like curved patinated brass supports.

Overall in very good condition.

The wooden surfaces present with scratches and occasional areas of discoloration throughout and some light crackling to the finish of the piece.

The edges of both tiers with occasional areas of later inpainting which are not visually distracting.

A fracture to the curved wooden element supporting the lower tier has recently been restored to ensure stability.
