Repoussé and chased rectilinear sterling silver tray.
- Ornate raised scroll work edge.
- Chasing to center with scrolling acanthus leaves and diamond trellis pattern.
- Central frame engraved with an interlaced monogram and family crest composed of an arm in armor embowed, the hand grasping an arrow, over a scroll with the family name, Downing.
- Marked Galt & Bros, Sterling, 2201, with the encircled G company logo and a partial fleur de lis mark.
