Description

Neoclassical Beauty Collection.

A pair of blue enameled bronze and ormolu two-light sconces after a model by Gouthière.

  • Sold as a set of 2.
  • Each two-arm sconce features top and bottom acorn finials with acanthus leaves on the cobalt blue-colored central stem.
  • The stem is wrapped with berried laurel branches.
  • A maiden mask sits between the two scrolling and spiral fluted candle arms, with beaded bobeches and floral candle cups, terminating in horned rams heads and connected by a floral swag held aloft by lovebirds.
  • The original model is still currently on display at The Palace of Fontainebleau.
