Description

A very fine satinwood lady's secretary desk in the style of Thomas Sheraton.

  • Inlaid with oval flitches of mahogany.
  • Shaped and cresting top with an oval flitch.
  • Central column of shelves flanked by inlaid doors.
  • Foldaway writing desk with a tambour top.
  • Inset glass inkwells and hidden drawers with faux ivory knobs.
  • Base with superb banding of marquetry inlay and two drawers with silver handles over a concave tambour door.
  • Raised on turned legs ending in brass casters.
