Description
A George III mahogany chest on chest from the last quarter of the 18th century.
- Fitted with seven graduated serpentine drawers.
- Upper case composed of four drawers set above a lower case of three drawers.
- Features a carved blind fret frieze below the carved cornice with dentil motif.
- Canted front corners on both upper and lower cases feature fluted detailing.
- Set on ogee bracket feet.
- Retains original brass handles and locks.

GoodWear commensurate with age and use.
Some minor cracking to wood.
Minor scratches to mahogany surface.
One small chip to wood below the bottom drawer of the upper case on right.
One small nick to wood at center of cornice.
