Description
A George III mahogany chest on chest from the last quarter of the 18th century.
- Fitted with seven graduated serpentine drawers.
- Upper case composed of four drawers set above a lower case of three drawers.
- Features a carved blind fret frieze below the carved cornice with dentil motif.
- Canted front corners on both upper and lower cases feature fluted detailing.
- Set on ogee bracket feet.
- Retains original brass handles and locks.
