Description

The demise of imperial porcelain during the late Qing dynasty had one good outcome in that it released a group of highly trained and skilled decorators onto the private market. They joined a talented group of master porcelain painters working for private firms and in their own studios, Wang Bu (Chinese, 1898-1968) being among one of the most famous.
