Description

English Victorian sterling silver cobalt blue glass mustard pot.

  • Made by George Frederick Pinnell in London in 1844.
  • Round with open scrollwork sides and spread base with applied leafing scrollwork.
  • Hinged and domed cover with vasiform finial leaf thumb rest.
  • Capped s-scroll handle.
  • Open bottom.
  • Detachable cobalt glass liner.
  • Fully marked including maker's stamp.
