A unique Delft tile picture depicting the waterfront of the city of Rotterdam.

  • Twenty square hand-painted blue and white tiles.
  • Inscribed 1863 / Presented to / the Union Marine Insurance Company, Limited / by the / Firm M. Van Merle, Its Rotterdam Agency / at the / Jubilee Celebration Held in Liverpool on the 14th July 1913 / to Commemorate the Completion of the Company's Fiftieth Year / 1913.
  • Signed by the artist lower right, J.D. van Velemeny.
  • Signed lower left with the original Delft Tile foundry mark.
  • Mahogany frame.
