A married woman's hat from the Zulu people.

  • This traditional isicholo or inhloko is made by stretching hair, dyed with ochre over a woven circular frame.
  • A small opening is lined with fabric, allowing it to be worn like a beret.
  • Modern examples have been replaced with red cotton.
