Description

A covered stoneware jug from the Edo period.

  • Mizusashi, used for water in tea ceremonies.
  • Covered in a brown glaze with varying dripped shades of cream and dark brown.
  • The base and areas of the lid have been repaired with kintsugi.
  • With dedicated tomobako.
