Description

Made of Duan stone from the Duanxi River running at the foot of Lanke Mountain, these stones were likely first produced during the Wude reign of the Tang Dynasty, according to documents.

  • Carved with a cameo effect, depicting a landscape scene of pagodas and rocky outcrops with pine trees floating on an island with clouds overhead.
  • Rosewood frame and base.
