Description

A group of bird prints from Audubon's celebrated series.

  • Sold as a set of 9.
  • Hand-colored prints from the later octavo editions were lithographed and hand-colored by J.T. Bowen in Philadelphia and in New York between 1840–1871.
  • Comprising plate numbers 26, 118, 122, 161, 187, 188, 237, 239 and 281.
  • Offered in painted and gilded frames with marbled mats and glazed under glass.
