- Block print of four roosters in their house, one starting his morning "reveille" as the other three still sleep.
- Off-white mat and glass glazing in simple, thin wood frame.
- The artist was born in Russia, immigrated to Canada as a young man amid the turmoil following the Russian Revolution, studied in the US, and then lived and worked most of his adult life in New York City and New Milford, CT.
