Description

Neoclassical carved and giltwood console with mirror created by Johan Martin Berg n Gothenburg, Sweden.

  • Elaborately carved giltwood console with rectangular inset white marble top, carved apron, raised upon a pair of scale carved legs which terminate into clawed paws with carved leaf wrapped ankles.
  • A carved giltwood lyre at backside, surrounded with wreathed foliage, upon a black platform base.
  • Pier mirror sits inset, atop the console, flanked by a pair of long half columns, abundantly carved with foliage and fan motif.
