  • Handmade of raffia fibers, the foundations are woven by men and later embroidered in intricate patterns by women.
  • Employing an overall balanced pattern, deep plush and even lines, these textiles were made for personal use, trade and dowry.
  • Mounted to archival canvas covered in a taupe chenille textile.
