Standing gilt figure of the Buddha from the Meiji period.
- Standing Amida Nyorai Buddha haloed with a mandorla and draped with a long robe with the left hand gesturing in the varadamudra mudra.
- The hair raised in a bun topped by the ushnisha and adorned with the urna.
Condition Report
GoodMinor signs of wear to gilt and lacquer.
Top of mandorla has been reattached, crack visible along the back and small losses of gilt to the front.
Raised hand is missing.
