Description

A pair of French silver sauceboats in the Louis XV manner.

  • Sold as a set of 2.
  • Heavy gauge sterling silver with a cast handle surrounded by a ribbon, cattails at the base and armorials on both sides.
  • Armorials feature an impalement of two coats of arms, denoting a union (most likely a marriage) in cartouches under a crown, saddled by a lion and a dog rampant.
  • Silver hallmarks on bottom.
