Description
English William IV mahogany armoire.
- The armoire has architectural lines and features a moulded cornice above a pair of carved columns that enclose two well figured flame mahogany paneled doors.
- Upper case has a sliding shelf and a hanging rail, the slide can be removed for full hanging space.
- Lower case has three graduated drawers with period brasses terminating with a carved skirt on turned feet.
Condition Report
GoodLosses to mouldings, splits and lifting to some localized areas of veneer.
Armoire appeared to turn into entertainment units with drilling holes for cables/wires.
Generally with typical minor old marks and scratches.
One of the brass hardware is broken.
