Description

A large porcelain charger from the Qing period.

  • Enameled with a blanket of geometric floral patterns in pale blue, yellow, rose and green, surrounding a roundel with the symbol for longevity and an outer border of foliage with peaches and Greek key motifs.
  • Bottom decorated with bamboo and wheat whisps in iron red.
  • Unmarked.
