A Chinese embroidered robe from the late Qing dynasty.

  • Embroidered with golden dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, amidst scrolling clouds with bats, peaches and shou character roundels on magenta ground.
  • Cresting waves and a lishui border at the bottom, with the collar and cuffs embroidered with dragons and bats among clouds.
