Lacquered and gilt traveling shrine with standing Kannon.

  • Intricate etched bronze fittings on the door, base and corners.
  • Gilded interior depicting Kannon standing in front of a mandorla, holding a vase of nectar in the right hand, with the left hand lowered, welcoming the faithful to paradise.
  • Standing on a carved lotus on a gilt base.
