Description

Patricia Torres (Mexican, b. 1963).

This work is offered unframed.


Patricia Torres was born in the state of Michoacán, Mexico in 1963. In 1984, Torres received a masters degree in Art and Feminism from the National School of Fine Art in Mexico City. Torres stayed in Mexico City after receiving her degree where she practiced painting and printmaking, meeting and working with artists such as Gunther Gerzso, Jose Luis Cuevas and Leonora Carrington. Since 2015, Torres has lived and worked in San Francisco, California.


Work by the artist is collected internationally by private collectors and is held in the permanent collections of public museums, including Art Modern Museum (Mexico City) and Rafael Coronel Museum (Zacatecas, Mexico).
