“In making [my art], I imagine a lost ritual…random and unrelated elements take over.” —William Buchina

William Buchina received his BFA from the Pratt Institute in 2002. He has exhibited at 312 Bowery, SLAG Gallery and Hollis Taggart. Buchina’s art is notable for the panoply of literary and personal references which the artist pulls together to create a window into the self-described dreamer’s thought process. Crowded and chaotic, Buchina crafts a contemporary two-dimensional kunstkammer, replete with an impressive visual vocabulary.
