Louis Weiner (Russian-American, 1892–1967).

Born in Vinnytsia, Russia, Louis Weiner moved to Chicago where he studied with Reynolds, Higgins, Poole, Norton and Krehbiel. He was a member of the Palette & Chisel Club, the Chicago Academy of Fine Art, Chicago Society of Artists, Around the Palette, American Artists Congress and the Chicago Artists Union. Louis Weiner exhibited with success, including at the Art Institute of Chicago between 1927 and 1948, and is listed in Who Was Who in American Art.
