The Nike Air Jordan 5 Retro PE “Michigan” was released by the Jordan Brand as an exclusive for the University of Michigan Wolverines. Following the likes of the UNC Tar Heels, Oklahoma Sooners and Florida Gators, these collegiate PEs were designed by Nike as an opportunity to highlight the team-issued colorways. 

The upper of these Michigan exclusives are designed primarily in maize yellow elephant print and contrasted with a navy suede tongue. The most striking detail on these Air Jordan 5s is the Michigan “M” logo embroidered on both tongues. The icy white midsole stands out with a speckled shark teeth overlay in Michigan’s iconic navy blue. Rumored to have been a release limited to 250 pairs, these premium material Air Jordan 5 Retro PEs are a coveted find for any Michigan fan.
