Description

Rajasthan painting featuring two figures hunting a tiger in the foreground of a landscape, with the men's horses in the background.

  • Opaque watercolor on paper heightened with gold.

This work is in overall very good condition.

Minor losses to the gold ground visible in the bridle of the white horse in the upper right, in the gold of the jigha of the main figure and along the band of the case holding arrows on the right side of the main figure's waist.

Some minor water damage along the left edge of the painting, underneath the sash of the secondary figure to the right, with minor water spots visible on the upper left corner.

Loss to lower right corner and along the edge of the lower right side of the image.
