Description

A.H. Hirsch Reserve 15 Year Old 95.6 Proof 1974

Japanese import, Lawrenceburg, KY green glass, gold wax, distilled in 1974, released in 1990, labels slightly stained, retail sticker adhered to rear, front and back label soiled and stained

Many of the early releases of A.H. Hirsch appeared in small batches, which Julian Van Winkle III bottled on an almost order-by-order basis. There was little consistency in label design, and as a result, there is great variety among the bottlings. This bottle is a case in point: though it is the same age as previous Hirsch releases, its label show the Hirsch name in a stylized cursive script, unlike the block lettering that came prior – a small difference that nevertheless makes this bottle a prized possession.

1 bottle 75cl (no original packaging)
