Presented in this lot are Zizou Bergs match worn left sneaker from the 2026 US Open Third Round against Botic van de Zandschulp at Court 17 on September 5, 2026.

van de Zandschulp defeated Bergs with a score of 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 7-6 (8-6), 6-3.

The left sneaker was also worn during the US Open First Round against Carlos Taberner at Court 12 on September 2, 2026 following a rain delay the previous day. 

Bergs defeated Taberner in 4 sets with a score of 6-3, 3-6, 6-2, 6-2.

The right sneaker was matched to the US Open practice on August 28, 2026.

The right sneaker was not able to be conclusively matched to the First and Third Round matches, however, due to the size and provenance we believe they were issued to Zizou Bergs.

The sneakers were secured on-site and authenticated by a Sotheby’s representative.
