Set of Two | Nike Zoom Kobe IV and Zoom Kobe V "Think Pink" Promo Samples, Sizes 6 and 7

Offered here as a single lot are two unreleased Nike Basketball promo samples produced in the "Think Pink" colorway: a 2008 Nike Zoom Kobe IV in size 6 and a 2009 Nike Zoom Kobe V in size 7, both produced in tribute to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Nike's Think Pink collection served as a visible platform to raise breast cancer awareness across the world of basketball, with the Kobe signature line serving as one of its most prominent vehicles across consecutive models.

The Kobe IV presents an all-pink upper with white Swoosh branding, white laces, Kobe tri-star logo on the tongue, and a gum outsole. Never released to the public and said to be one of only 24 pairs in existence, the Think Pink Kobe IV remains one of the scarcest configurations in the entire Kobe signature canon. The Kobe V continues the colorway across the succeeding model, presenting a white-based upper with pink overlays, silver Swoosh branding, speckled pink laces, silver Kobe tri-star logo on the tongue, and a grey outsole -- equally unreleased in its original promo sample form.

Together, the two pairs document consecutive chapters of the Think Pink initiative across Kobe's signature line, spanning the back-to-back championship seasons of 2008-09 and 2009-10.
