Signed and inscribed by MICHAEL COLLINS: “Michael Collins / Apollo XI” in SILVER INK. Signed and inscribed by CHARLIE DUKE: “‘Roger, Tranquility, we copy you on the ground! / You’ve got a bunch of guys about to turn blue, / we’re breathing again. Thanks a lot!’ / Charles M. Duke, Jr./ Apollo 11 CAPCOM / 20 July 1969” in BLUE ink. Framed together with NEIL ARMSTRONG signature and inscription: “Neil Armstrong / Apollo 11” in BLUE ink; embroidered Apollo 11 and NASA meatball patches. Framed presentation measures 29 x 22 inches. This photograph captures Earth as seen from the Apollo 11 Command Module Columbia, with the lunar surface in the foreground. The photograph itself is signed by two of the three Apollo 11 crew members and CAPCOM Charlie Duke, who later went on to become the youngest person to walk on the Moon as Lunar Module Pilot of Apollo 16. With the inclusion of Neil Armstrong’s signature and inscription in the framed presentation, the entire Apollo 11 Crew and CAPCOM is represented.
