NUMBER 26 OF 60 COPIES SIGNED BY THE ARTIST (from a total edition of 65), small folio (285 x 192 mm), coloured and black and white lithographs by Nigel Davison throughout, contemporary pictorial green morocco binding by Angela James, gilt lettering around a red morocco square in centre of upper cover, geometric border of coloured triangles and squares on both covers, coloured inlays showing various animals on the covers, full blue morocco pastedowns showing more animals with morocco wavy lines, green and blue wavy front free endpapers, deckled edges, housed in a custom-made fitted morocco case (signed and dated by the binder 1987)


Angela James is one of Britain’s foremost bookbinders. She became a fellow of the Designer Bookbinders in 1975 and was its president from 1990–1996. Her work can be found in numerous private and public collections worldwide, including the Royal Library of Sweden, The Royal Library in Copenhagen, the British Library, and the V&A.
