Description
A Sanox classical acoustic guitar, serial # 00050001, owned and played by Pink Floyd keyboardist, singer and songwriter Richard Wright. Offered with hard case and letter of provenance signed by Franka Wright, his wife from 1984-1994.
Dimensions
Guitar: 39 ½ x 14 5/8 x 4 in.
Case: 45 x 19 x 7 ½ in.
Letter from Franka Wright states: “This guitar is part [sic] of my memorys [sic] is Ricks [sic] (Ricardos [sic]) guitar.” Letter also discusses Wright relaxing with the guitar at home on a boat in Greece.
Wright co-founded Pink Floyd and played on nearly every one of the band’s albums. He performed on every Pink Floyd tour and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Floyd in 1996.
