The scarce first edition of one of the only two scientific works produced by Molyneux. In the present work, prefaced by an interesting account of the progress of science in the 17th century, Molyneux claims to have invented the most perfect method of measuring time yet discovered.
4to (205 x 158 mm). Title within woodcut border; lacking preliminary blank, folding plate in facsimile, gathers L and N interleaved, minor dampstaining to upper margin, faint browning.
