Michael Dweck’s first major photographic work, The End: Montauk, N. Y., was published in 2004. The publication and subsequent series of exhibitions pay tribute to Montauk, colloquially known as ‘The End’ due to its location on the easternmost point of Long Island. The photograph offered here comes from Sonya Olson Bain, the model for this exuberant image who displays the vibrancy, independent spirit, and youthful culture of 'The End.'
