‘Signal Hill, Long Beach, California (Oil Derricks and Monument)’
gelatin silver print, mounted to Hi-Art illustration board, signed in pencil on the mount, the photographer’s Carmel studio stamps (BMFA 7 & 8), titled and dated in ink, and a collection stamp on the reverse
image: 14 ¼ by 18 in. (36.2 by 45.7 cm.)
Executed in 1939, probably printed between 1963 and 1970.
