Heart Attack City
a unique assemblage of a Polaroid of Marilyn Monroe Diary Page with blood and red paint; a gelatin silver print of 756 Elephants @ Mkomazi Border of Tsavo, initialed, titled, dated, and annotated P. B. w/Ian Parker in the margin and collaged with six images of elephant bones; and a contact sheet signed and annotated in ink on the image and with a segment of a fishbone affixed to the image framed
overall: 10 by 11 in. (25.4 by 27.9 cm.)
Executed in 1972-76, printed and assembled later.
Gift of the photographer to a private collection, Montauk
