Description

THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR. 1969.

British Quad poster, linen backed, unframed: 30 x 40 in. (76 x 102 cm)

This film was directed and produced by Norman Jewison, and stars Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. There is great on-screen chemistry between McQueen and Dunaway. McQueen plays the charming business man Thomas Crown, who thinks that he has accomplished the perfect multi-million dollar robbery, until he meets Vicki Anderson (insurance investigator), played by Dunaway, who has been employed to investigate the robbery. Here he has certainly met his match. The film won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for 'The Windmills of Your Mind' by Michel Legrand (music), Marilyn Bergman and Alan Bergman (lyrics).
