George Lucas commissioned Tom William Chantrell to design this British poster. Lucas liked the final result so much that he used it for the American style C poster. However, it was designed as a landscape format poster and therefore lends itself well to this British size.
This was where it all began back in 1977, when George Lucas brought us the beginning of the Star Wars empire.
