Silver gelatin photograph by Philippe Halsman, conservation framed with UV plexiglass, unframed: 14 x 11 in. (36 x 28 cm); framed: 19 3/8 x 16 1/2 in. (49.2 x 41.9 cm).
There is a perspex window on the back of the frame showing photographer's copyright information and photographer's signature.
This photograph was taken at the Beverly Carlton Hotel Apartment for a LIFE cover story on 7th April 1952.
Exceptionally rare vintage photograph. It is understood that only a handful of these were originally printed.
