Description
A.K.A. CASSIUS CLAY / MUHAMMAD ALI: SKILL, BRAINS AND GUTS.
Poster, unfolded and linen backed, unframed: 60 x 40 in. (152 x 102 cm)
This larger format poster was used for drive-ins and special displays. Far fewer were printed than the standard one sheet posters. It was printed on heavier paper stock and distributed rolled. Over time many of these posters got folded. This particular poster has remained in its original unfolded state.
This boxing documentary was directed by Jimmy Jacobs, and is about the legendary former heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali. The film was made during Ali's exile from boxing for refusing to be inducted into the US Army on religious grounds. The documentary is an overview of Ali's career to that point, and features archival footage of those associated with Ali.
