Sandro Simeoni's colourful atmospheric poster design captures the rambling crowd sitting outside Via Vittorio Veneto in Rome waiting for something to happen !
This poster was printed in two sheets and designed to be pasted onto billboards. Therefore only unused examples survived. This is one of the rarest pieces on this film, and does not surface very often. This is a particularly rare example as it has been signed in the top-right hand corner of the artwork area of the poster by the artist, Sandro Simeoni.
Perhaps no film has ever managed to capture the spirit—perhaps even the flavour—of the generation that begot it as Fellini's masterpiece La Dolce Vita, from the opening shot of Marcello Mastroianni in a helicopter flying above Rome with a massive statue of Christ hanging beneath, to Anita Ekberg's iconic early morning dip in the Fontana de Trevi.
