A collection of seven walking sticks and canes, late 19th/early 20th century

comprising,

• an Anglo-Indian silver mounted malacca cane, the handle cast with figures;
• a knarled wood stick, the stem later mounted with a George III carved mahogany surmount in the form of a gentleman’s head inset with a silver plaque engraved JR;
• a polychrome decorated Malacca stick with a polished nut finial;
• a fruitwood cane, the surmount carved with the head of a hound, mounted with glass eyes;
• a fruitwood and ebonised cane, carved with entwined snakes and a finial in the form of a clenched fist;
• a bamboo and silver mounted evening cane, with hallmarks for Birmingham, and 
• a brass trench art walking stick made from bullet cases.
