Drafted with the 30th overall pick of the 2025 NBA Draft out of Penn State, Yanic Konan Niederhäuser has already proven himself to be a talented NBA player. At 6’11”, 250 lbs frame and impressive length, Konan Niederhäuser is a rim-protecting center known for his shot-blocking, rebounding, and efficient inside scoring. Scouts describe him as a towering lob target, imposing shot-blocker, and efficient rim-runner with athletic length. His rookie season was unfortunately cut short due to a season-ending injury. Despite this injury, Konan Niederhäuser finished out an impressive rookie season as an important piece for the Clippers. At the time of cataloging, Konan Niederhäuser has rookie averages of 4.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.


Konan Niederhäuser played college basketball at Northern Illinois and Penn State, where he averaged 8.1 points, 4.4 rebounds, 0.4 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game over 76 career games. He shot 56.8% from the field and 65.2% from the free-throw line in his collegiate career. He started 57 games and displayed steady improvement, especially as a shot-blocker and interior defender.
