The 75th NBA All-Star Game took place on February 15, 2026, at the Intuit Dome, marking the first All-Star Game at the venue and a record seventh time the Los Angeles area has welcomed the league’s midseason showcase. Presented by the Los Angeles Clippers, the 2026 edition featured a three-team, round-robin format with two American squads, Team Stars and Team Stripes, and an international roster, Team World. The uniforms incorporated an LA-inspired script, seven stars honoring the city’s seven All-Star Games, and each player’s national flag at the back neckline.
After being selected as the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, Donovan Mitchell quickly made his mark with the Utah Jazz, demonstrating remarkable athleticism and an exceptional ability to lead the team's offense. Following a 2022 trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers, in the 2022-23 season, Mitchell cemented himself as one of the league’s premier scorers. On January 2nd, 2023, Mitchell scored 71 points against the Chicago Bulls, becoming just the 7th player in NBA history to score 70 or more in a single game. In addition to this record, it was the most points scored by an NBA player since the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant scored 81 against Toronto in 2006.
Additionally, he has career averages of 25.1 points per game, 4.3 rebounds per game, and 4.8 assists per game. He is a 6-time NBA All-Star and a 2022-2023 All-NBA 2nd Team selection. Mitchell was also the 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Contest Champion.
