Description

NIKE, NIKE MESH JERSEY, SIZE L (TALL LENGTH)

MESH

This NBA Draft Combine jersey was issued to Maliq Brown on May 12, 2026 in Chicago, at Wintrust Arena and the Marriott Marquis Hotel. However, due to provenance, we believe it is likely worn.

With strong physical tools for a two-way wing, a 6'8.0" frame, 216.6 lbs build, and a 7'0.75" wingspan, Maliq Brown brings elite defensive instincts, outstanding athleticism, and a unique combination of quickness and length to the forward position. His 3.07-second sprint time ranked among the top marks for forwards at the 2026 NBA Draft Combine, and his 8'11.0" standing reach projects him as a versatile defender capable of guarding multiple positions.

Brown is coming out of Duke, where he played his final two seasons after beginning his career at Syracuse. He averaged 4.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game as a senior across 37 games, earning ACC Defensive Player of the Year and ACC Sixth Man of the Year honors, along with a spot on the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Late Season Team. Across his four college seasons, his defensive impact was his defining attribute, leading the ACC in steals in 2023-24 (2.2 spg) and drawing two consecutive All-Defensive Team selections. Brown helped Duke reach the Sweet Sixteen in 2026 and contributed meaningful defensive stops throughout the tournament.

His offensive game remains limited, and projections typically have him as a late second-round selection. Combining rare lateral quickness, elite steal-generating instincts, and long-term defensive versatility, Brown projects as a gadget defensive specialist capable of carving out a roster spot in the right system.
