He was named Big Ten honorable mention All-Conference and was one of the primary drivers of Iowa's tournament run. Earlier at Drake, he led the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring, steals, and assist-to-turnover ratio, earning multiple All-America honors and becoming the first MVC player ever to record 600 points, 200 assists, and 70 steals in a single season.
