David Jones-Garcia 2025-2026 Issued ‘Rising Stars’ Practice Jersey

This ‘Rising Stars’ practice jersey was issued to David Jones-García on February 13, 2026, for the Rising Stars Game practice.

David Jones-García was selected to represent Team Austin in the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars Game on February 13, 2026, but was unable to participate due to injury. Team Austin fell to Team Melo 40-34 in the semifinal game.

Jones-García first made headlines with American scouts while representing the Dominican Republic in FIBA youth tournaments. Jones-Garcia attended Depaul University where he set records, recording the first triple-double in program history. 

David Jones-García went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft but was signed to a two-way contract by the San Antonio Spurs where he was looking to make an immediate impact. He made NBA Summer League first team honors and averaged 21.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game.
