Description:
Created by winemaker Julien Fayard, this collector-focused library collection brings together eight rare bottles from Covert Estate, Purlieu and Julien Fayard. Spanning the 2014–2021 vintages, the lot explores distinctive Napa Valley vineyard and clonal expressions through Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Five large-format library bottles anchor the collection, including two 3-liters and two magnums from Purlieu and one from Julien Fayard. The selection reaches back to the 2014 vintage and pairs mature, cellar-worthy wines with focused 2021 releases from Coombsville, Sleeping Lady Vineyard and Martinez Vineyard. Together, these wines offer a singular perspective on Fayard’s winemaking across three labels and some of Napa Valley’s most compelling sites.
