Vénus de Milo aux tiroirs

inscribed Dalí and numbered 5/5 (on the base)

painted bronze with ermine buttons 

height: 39 in. 99.1 cm. 

Conceived in plaster in 1936; this example cast in bronze from 1964 by the Susse foundry, Paris in an edition of 6 plus 4 artist’s proofs. 


Nicolas and Olivier Descharnes have kindly confirmed the authenticity of this work.
